This expressive & richly colored image of the Nativity is presented in rich colors and traditional style, exquisitely framed in gold, for a timeless elegance that compliments any style of décor. 

It was painted by Giuseppe Peroni, and features the adoration of the Newborn King by the Magi, in a moment of striking tenderness & awe. As the Christ Child is recognized and adored by the Three Kings, Angels surround Him and heavenly light shines upon Him.

Commissioned by the Cardinal of Bologna for the cathedral in the 17th C. this is one of the most beloved Baroque images of the Nativity. The image reminds us of the great love of God for all of His wayward children and the gift of the Incarnation to the world.
