This ornately detailed silver chalice and paten set has so much detail and a rich feel. A baroque style design on the bottom of the cup that flows down the stem to the base makes this chalice visually intriguing. A large node on the stem makes the cup easy to hold onto and lift. The chalice is sacred vessel used to hold the wine/precious blood. Accompanying paten holds the host/Holy Eucharist and makes a set.
The scenes engraved on the base of the chalice are: The Last Supper, The Presentation, The Nativity, The Annunciation, and The Resurrection.
Matching ciborium, used to hold the Holy Eucharist, sold separately.
